O Creator of all creation, O Lord, direct with Thy blessing the works of our hands begun for Thy glory, and quickly send Thy blessing, for Thou alone art almighty and lovest mankind.

Kontakion

Grant speedy and unfailing consolation to Thy servants, O Jesus, when our spirits grow despondent. Do not depart from our souls in sorrows; do not withdraw from our thoughts in difficult circumstances, but always go before us. Draw near unto us, O Thou Who art everywhere present, and as Thou wast always with Thine Apostles, so unite Thyself unto those who desire Thee, O Compassionate One, that being joined to Thee we may hymn and glorify Thine all-holy Spirit.

Prayer

O Lord Jesus Christ, only-begotten Son of Thine unoriginate Father, Thou hast said with Thy most pure lips that without Thee we can do nothing. O my Lord, my Lord, with faith receiving in my soul and heart what Thou hast spoken, I fall down before Thy goodness: help me, a sinner, to accomplish this work that I now begin, in Thee, in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
