Prayer
Remember, O Lord our God, Thy departed servants , who have fallen asleep in faith and in the hope of life everlasting. As Thou art good and lovest mankind, forgiving sins and destroying iniquities, do Thou remit, pardon, and forgive all their transgressions, voluntary and involuntary, raising them up at Thy holy second coming to partake of Thine eternal good things, for whose sake they believed in Thee, the one true God and Lover of mankind. For Thou art the resurrection, the life, and the repose of Thy servants , O Christ our God, and unto Thee we send up glory, with Thy beginningless Father and Thy most holy Spirit, now and ever, and unto ages of ages. Amen.
It is truly meet to bless thee, O Theotokos, ever-blessed and most pure, and the Mother of our God. More honorable than the Cherubim, and more glorious beyond compare than the Seraphim, without corruption thou gavest birth to God the Word; true Theotokos, we magnify thee.
