The Order of a General Moleben
Deacon: Bless, Master!
Priest: Blessed be our God always, now and ever, and unto ages of ages.
Chorus: Amen. King of Heaven:
Reader: Trisagion. Glory, and now: Most Holy Trinity: Lord, have mercy. (three times) Glory, and now: Our Father: Priest: For Thine is the kingdom: Reader: Amen. Lord, have mercy. (12 times) Glory, and now: Come, let us worship: (three times)
Lord, hear my prayer, heed my prayer in Thy truth, hear me in Thy righteousness, and do not enter into judgment with Thy servant, for no one living will be justified before You. For the enemy began to persecute my soul, brought my life down to the ground, and planted me in darkness, as those who had died from eternity. And my spirit was sad within me, my heart was troubled within me. I remembered the days of old, I thought about all Your works, I meditated on the creations of Your hands. I have stretched out my hands to You; my soul before You is like a dry land. Hear me quickly, O Lord, my spirit is faint: do not turn Your face away from me, and let me not be like those who go down into the pit. Let me hear Your mercy early in the morning, for I trust in You; Open to me, Lord, the path along which I should go, for I have lifted up my soul to You. Deliver me from my enemies, O Lord, for I have fled to You. Teach me to do Your will, for You are my God; Your good Spirit will lead me to the land of righteousness. For the sake of Your name, Lord, You will revive me, according to Your righteousness You will bring my soul out of sorrow, and by Your mercy You will destroy my enemies, and destroy all those who oppress my soul, for I am Your servant.
Glory, and now: Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia, glory to Thee, O God. (three times)
God is Lord, and He has appeared to us; Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord. (four times)
Verse 1: Glorify the Lord, for He is good, for His lovingkindness endures forever.
Verse 2: They surrounded me and surrounded me, but I resisted them in the name of the Lord.
Verse 3: I will not die, but will live and declare the works of the Lord.
Verse 4: The stone that the builders rejected, it was found at the head of the corner: it was from the Lord, and it was wonderful in our eyes. (Ps 117:27A, 26A, 1, 11, 17, 22–23)
Let us now diligently resort to the Mother of God / we, sinners and humble ones, and fall to Her, / crying out in repentance from the depths of our souls: / “Mistress, help, take pity on us, / hasten, we are perishing from many sins! / Do not let Your servants go empty-handed: / for in You we have our only hope!” (Twice)
Glory, and now: We, unworthy ones, will never stop / proclaiming Your power, Mother of God, / for if You had not protected us with Your prayers, / who would have delivered us from so many troubles, / who would have kept us free to this day? / We will not retreat, Lady, from You, / for You always save Your servants from all disasters.
Or the troparion to the saint twice, Glory, and now, Theotokos in the same tone.
Psalm 50
Have mercy on me, O God, according to Your great mercy and according to the multitude of Your mercies, blot out my iniquity; completely wash me from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. For I know my iniquity, and my sin is always before me. I have sinned against You, the One, and done evil before You, so that you may be justified in Your words and win if they enter into court with You. For behold, I was conceived in iniquities, and my mother gave birth to me in sins. For behold, You have loved the truth; You have revealed to me the hidden and secret things of Your wisdom. You will sprinkle me with hyssop, and I will be cleansed; wash me, and I will become whiter than snow; let me hear joy and gladness, and my humiliated bones will rejoice. Turn Your face away from my sins and blot out all my iniquities. Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew the Right Spirit within me. Do not cast me away from Your presence and do not take Your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of Your salvation and strengthen me with the Sovereign Spirit. I will teach the wicked Your ways, and the wicked will turn to You. Deliver me from bloodshed, O God, God of my salvation; my tongue will rejoice in Your righteousness. Lord, You will open my mouth, and my mouth will declare Your praise. For if You had desired sacrifice, I would have given it; you will not be pleased with burnt offerings. A sacrifice to God is a contrite spirit; God will not despise a contrite and humble heart. Bless Zion, O Lord, with Your favor, and may the walls of Jerusalem be erected; then You will graciously accept the sacrifice of righteousness, the offering and burnt offerings, and then they will lay bulls on Your altar.

In those days, Mary arose and went with haste into the hill country, to a city of Judah, and entered the house of Zechariah and greeted Elizabeth. And when Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting, the child leaped in her womb; and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit, and cried out with a loud voice, and said: “Blessed are You among women, and blessed is the Fruit of Your womb! And why is this granted me, that the Mother of my Lord should come to me? For behold, when the voice of Your greeting came to my ears, the child in my womb leaped for joy; and blessed is She who believed that what was spoken to Her by the Lord would be fulfilled.” And Mary said: “My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior, for He has regarded the low estate of His handmaiden; for behold, henceforth all generations shall call Me blessed; for He who is mighty has done great things for Me, and holy is His name.” Mary remained with her about three months and returned to her home. (Luke 1:39–49, 56)

And we read the prayer for whom the prayer service is being served.
If we serve a prayer service to the Most Holy Theotokos, the priest proclaims: Let us pray to the Most Holy Lady, the Virgin Mother of God.
Chorus: Most Holy Theotokos, save us.
Oh, Most Holy Lady, Lady Theotokos! You are above all Angels and Archangels and revered more than anything created: Helper of the offended, hope of the lost, Intercessor of the poor, comfort of the sad, Nourisher of the hungry, clothing of the naked, healing of the sick, salvation of sinners, help and protection for all Christians. Oh, all-merciful Lady, Virgin Mary and Lady! By your mercy, save and have mercy on your servants, your most holy Orthodox patriarchs, and your most eminent metropolitans, archbishops and bishops, and the entire priestly and monastic rank. Save, Lady, and have mercy on our God-protected Russian country, its people and all those in power, military leaders, mayors and all the army, and those who do good, and all Orthodox Christians, through the robe of your sacred protection. And pray, Lady, from You without seed the incarnate Christ, our God, may He gird us with His power from above against our invisible and visible enemies. Oh, all-merciful Lady, Lady Theotokos! Raise us from the depths of sin and deliver us from hunger, pestilence, from earthquake and flood, from fire and sword, from the invasion of foreigners and internecine war, and from sudden death, and from enemy attacks, and from harmful winds, and from deadly plagues, and from all evil. Grant, Lady, peace and health to your servants, all Orthodox Christians, and enlighten their minds and the eyes of their hearts for their salvation, and honor us, your sinful servants, with the Kingdom of Your Son, Christ our God. For His dominion is blessed and glorified, with His beginningless Father and His all-holy, good, and life-giving Spirit, now and always, and unto the ages of ages. Amen.
My most blessed Queen, my Hope, Mother of God, shelter of orphans and protector of wanderers, joy of the grieving, patroness of the offended! You see my misfortune, you see my sorrow; help me as a weak person, guide me as a stranger. You know my offense: resolve it according to Your will. For I have no other help than You, no other Protector, no good Comforter - only You, O Mother of God: may you preserve me and protect me forever and ever. Amen.
To whom shall I appeal, Lady? To whom shall I resort in my sorrow, if not to You, Queen of Heaven? Who will graciously accept my cry and my sighing, if not You, Most Immaculate, the hope of Christians and refuge for us sinners? Who better to protect you in adversity? Hear my groaning and incline Your ear to me, Lady, Mother of my God; and do not despise me, who need Your help, and do not reject me, a sinner. Enlighten and teach me, Queen of Heaven; do not depart from me, Thy servant, O Lady, for my murmur, but be my Mother and Intercessor. I entrust myself to Your merciful protection: lead me, a sinner, to a quiet and serene life, so that I may weep for my sins. For to whom will I, guilty, resort, if not to You, the hope and refuge of sinners, inspired by the hope of Your ineffable mercy and Your bounties? O Lady, Queen of Heaven! You are my hope and refuge, protection and intercession, and help. My most blessed and speedy Intercessor! Cover my sins with Your intercession, protect me from enemies visible and invisible; soften the hearts of evil people who rebel against me. O Mother of the Lord, my Creator! You are the root of virginity and the unfading color of purity. O Mother of God! Give me help, weak from carnal passions and sick at heart, for I have only Yours and with You the protection of Your Son; and may I be delivered by Your wonderful intercession from every misfortune and misfortune, O most immaculate and glorious Mother of God Mary. Therefore, with hope I proclaim and cry: “Rejoice, O full of grace! Rejoice, joyful one! Rejoice, most blessed one, the Lord is with you!”
One prayer is read, whichever the abbot deigns. According to tradition, after it, while kissing the icon, a magnification can be sung.
We magnify You, / Most Holy Virgin, / Youth chosen by God, / and we honor Your holy image: / through which You exude healing / to all who come running to You with faith.

Tone 2: Joy to all who mourn, / and the offended Intercessor, / and the hungry Nourisher, / comfort to strangers and a rod for the blind, / refuge for the overwhelmed, visitation for the weak, / protection and support for the exhausted, / and help for the orphans, / Mother of the Most High God - You, Most Pure; / Make haste, we pray, for the deliverance of Your servants.
Tone 8: Lady, accept the petitions of Your servants, / and deliver us from all misfortune and sorrow.
Tone 2: I place all my hope / in You, Mother of God, / keep me under Your protection.
