Ode 1
Irmos: Of old, the transcendent power overwhelmed all the host of Pharaoh in the deep; and the incarnate Word hath destroyed all-ruinous sin. Glorious is the pre-glorified Lord, for He hath been gloriously glorified.

Having zealously approached Christ, before thy death for Christ’s sake, thou didst first raise a dead man. And now, O most wealthy Panteleimon, through thy prayers, restore me to life who am slain by the sting of sin.

Thou didst shine forth like a star, bearing in youth a mature and wise mind, and by the beauty of the body acquiring the comeliness of the soul, thou didst appear beautiful to the pre-glorified Word.

Dead to the world and clothed in Christ through the bath of Baptism, O blessed one, thou wast a God-bearing instrument and a dwelling of the Spirit’s operation, pleasing all and healing the infirmities of all.

Having made Wisdom thy sister and being known as a partaker of her life, thou wast honored by her and adorned with a crown of gifts, shining brightly with the splendor of the Divine dawn, O blessed one.

Theotokion: By giving birth to Christ, O Most Holy Pure Lady, thou hast crowned with blessings and delivered from corruption our nature, which had been estranged from the Creator by disobedience. Therefore, rejoicing, all we the faithful magnify thee.
Ode 3
Irmos: The barren desert of the nations hath blossomed like a lily, O Lord, by Thy coming, and therein hath my heart been established.

Having heard the words of the Spirit, thou wast like a good and fertile land, receiving the precious seed and bringing forth salvation for souls, O thrice-blessed one.

Thou didst deaden the venom of the serpent’s bite and didst quicken the soul, being divinely reborn and standing before the King of all.

Thou didst shame the godless command of the tyrants and didst flee to Christ, acquiring Him instead of all things, and didst become, O God-wise one, a great merchant.

Loving the piety of thy mother, O glorious one, thou didst hate the turbulent godlessness of thy father; having understanding, thou didst choose that which is best.

Theotokion: He Who by His Divine will supporteth all creation, O Virgin, is carried in Thine arms. Pray Him now to deliver from troubles those who sing to thee.
Sessional Hymn, Tone 4
Let us, the faithful, brightly praise with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs the noble champion of Christ’s piety, Panteleimon; through whom the tyranny of the invisible enemy was trampled down by Divine power, and healing of diseases was richly granted by the Lord to those who celebrate with faith his divine and honored feast.

Theotokion: Tossed by the tempests of passions, I, lacking a good conscience, O Pure One, cry out to thee fervently: despise me not, miserable as I am, nor let me perish, O thou who hast given birth to the abyss of mercy! For beside thee I have no hope, lest I, having hoped in thee, become a joy and laughing-stock to the enemies; for thou canst do all that thou willest, as the Mother of the God of all.
Ode 4
Irmos: Thou hast come from the Virgin, not as an ambassador or an angel, but as the Lord Himself incarnate, and hast saved me, whole man. Therefore, I cry to Thee: Glory to Thy power, O Lord!

Following the Master in love, thou didst distribute thy wealth to the poor, stripping thyself for the struggle, which thou didst endure, having foreseen eternal hopes.

Thou didst offer a sacrifice of praise unto God, openly abhorring idol-offerings, and didst trample down all the raging of the ungodly, O passion-bearer.

To those consumed by envy and assailed by wrath, thou didst oppose an invincible power, O martyr, and didst conquer their wicked oppression, having armed thyself.

He Who was held in the arms of the elder Simeon did, through the words of the elder Hermolaus, draw thee, O Panteleimon, to Divine understanding and to the salvation and deliverance of many.

Theotokion: Youths and virgins ran after Thee, beholding Thee as Virgin, Maiden, and Mother, for Thou alone didst combine both in one ineffably, O Bride of God.
Ode 5
Irmos: O Enlightenment of those lying in darkness, O Salvation of the despondent, Christ my Savior! Rising early unto Thee, O King of peace, enlighten me with Thy radiance; for beside Thee, I know no other God.

Joyfully didst thou endure the struggles of martyrdom, protected by Divine power; and, steadfastly bearing torments with patience, thou didst rejoice and cry aloud: ‘For beside Thee, we know no other God!’

Having entered the arena of struggle, O blessed one, by Divine power thou didst overcome the ungodly tyranny of the lawless and the madness of idolatry, having clothed thyself in Christ, the Judge and Crowner of contestants.

Possessing youthful resistance and having acquired steadfastness of soul, thou didst valiantly endure every wound, O blessed one, with a manly mind, being strengthened by the grace of the Divine Cross.

By heavenly teaching, the champion rejected the discordant speech of the strayed, and became the glorious cause of salvation to many, being strengthened by Thy working, O Christ.

Theotokion: The sayings of the wise, and all their riddles, O Most-glorified One, and the prophecies of the prophets did clearly prefigure Thee as destined to become the Mother of God in the last times; for beside Thee, we know no other pure one.
Ode 6
Irmos: Wallowing in the abyss of sin, I call upon the unfathomable abyss of Thy mercy: raise me up from corruption, O God!

Thou didst spit upon the deceptive idols, and didst destroy the exalted delusion, working wondrous miracles and performing healings, O God-wise one.

Thou didst show thyself a crowned victor, O most excellent one; for thou didst pass through fire and water, and, stretched upon the wheel, thou didst gloriously destroy the foolish ones.

Having cast down the harshness of the tyrants, thou didst endure intolerable bodily beatings with fortitude of soul, O God-wise one, through grace.

Theotokion: He Who as God supporteth the ends of the earth is held in Thine arms, O Pure One, circumscribed in body, Who in His Divine form is uncircumscribed.
Kontakion, Tone 5
Since thou art an imitator of the Merciful One, and hast received from Him the grace of healing, O passion-bearer and martyr of Christ God, heal by thy prayers our spiritual diseases, driving away always the temptations of the adversary from those who cry with faith: Save us, O Lord!
Ikos
Let us, O lovers of Christ, piously sing the memory of the unmercenary physician, the noble champion and faithful healer, that we may receive mercy, and especially those of us who, like myself, have defiled their own temples; for he granteth healing, beloved, to both souls and bodies. Let us hasten then, faithful brethren, to keep his fortitude in our hearts, which delivereth from delusion those who cry: Save us, O Lord!
Ode 7
Irmos: The wise children did not serve the golden image, but went into the flame themselves, and mocked their gods; in the midst of the flame they cried out, and an angel bedewed them: ‘The prayer of your lips is already heard!’

Having striven lawfully and conquered the enemy, O glorious one, thou wast a calm haven to those who are tempest-tossed in the sea of life, and a light to those in darkness, teaching them to sing: Blessed is the God of our fathers!

Blessed art thou, and it is well with thee now, O thrice-blessed one, who hast received thy most rich and blessed hope, prepared for those who cry with faith unto the Lord: Blessed is the God of our fathers!

The souls of the saints, the choirs of the righteous, and the ranks of the bodiless Angels received thee as a fellow-celebrant, O blessed one; for, beheaded with the sword, thou dost sing, rejoicing: Blessed is the God of our fathers!

Theotokion: The sword which of old excluded us from the tree of life, turning back, now admitteth those marked with the Blood that flowed from the side of Thy Son, O All-Pure One. Blessed art Thou, who hast given birth to God in the flesh.
Ode 8
Irmos: Sing ye to God, Who descended into the fiery furnace with the Hebrew children and changed the flame into dew; praise Him, all ye works, as Lord, and supremely exalt Him unto all ages.

The gracious application of thy medicine healeth the spiritual blindness of thy father, granting the light of faith, O thrice-blessed one, to those who run to thee, and guiding them to Christ the Savior.

Slain for Christ, thou didst pass over to eternal life and didst appear divinely-called by the name of God, O God-wise one. Therefore, we honor thee and supremely exalt Christ unto the ages.

Laying aside the bitter sophistry of the pagan rhetoricians, by the invocation of Christ thou dost cut out the roots of painful passions, healing those who supremely exalt Christ unto the ages.

Theotokion: We know Thee, O Theotokos, to be the source of the dawn of immortality, as having given birth to the Word of the Immortal Father, Who delivereth from death all who supremely exalt Him unto the ages.
Ode 9
Irmos: The Son of the Father without beginning, God and Lord, incarnate of the Virgin, hath appeared to us, to enlighten those in darkness, and to gather the dispersed. Therefore, we magnify the all-praised Theotokos.

Thou didst depart, rejoicing, to the ultimate object of thy desire, where having settled, O thrice-blessed one, thou wast truly accounted worthy of a blessed end, being with thy Master unto endless ages.

Thou didst obtain thy desire and the fulfillment of thy love, while thy warm blood, shed for Christ, was yet dripping; from Whom, rejoicing, thou didst receive the crowns of thy contests.

The mouths of lions and the gaping jaws of wild beasts, like Daniel of old, thou didst bridle; for even the unreasoning nature knoweth how to revere virtue, O martyr. Therefore, gathering together, we call thee blessed, O most glorious one.

A rich goodness Christ granteth thee, giving thee to us as a treasure of healings and, by His will, making thee all-merciful to every sorrowing one, a quiet haven, and an intercessor, and a defender.

Theotokion: Like a fleece, O All-Immaculate One, having conceived the heavenly Rain in thy womb, thou didst bear for us Him Who granteth peace, unto those who sing to Him as God and proclaim thee as the All-praised Mother of God.
Exapostilarion
Foreseeing thy merciful soul, God proclaimed thee Panteleimon, for thou dost freely pour out healing to those in need, O holy one, who didst conquer by thy patience the cruelty of the torturers.

Theotokion: O all-wise Panteleimon, sacred beauty of the honored unmercenaries and victorious glory of the Divine martyrs!
