Prayer to the Savior for One's Father and Mother
O Lord and my God Jesus Christ! Hear my prayer for my parents . Grant them oneness of mind and love in all the days of their life. Strengthen their bodies in health, that they may serve Thee by works of mercy and Gospel goodness. Teach me always to be obedient to my parents’ word, deliver me from hypocrisy and guile in dealing with them, and deprive not all of us of justification at Thy Dread Judgment. Amen.
